today in class we played the internet game hapland. I was the first person to start cheating in this game because i couldnt take not beating it anymore. i think its pretty much impossible to beat the game without a cheat. one little wrong move and you dont beat it. theres about 25 things to click before you cant win. so after you’ve clicked 20 of them and the 21st click is wrong then you lose and have to start over. and sometimes you have to activate things simultaniously. steven johnson talks about this in his book and how games like these test your brain. these games can get addicting sometimes though. which is a negative aspects if them.
